Rhonda Godwin, President

Rhonda Godwin became President of InvesTrust, N. A. in 2005.  In addition she is Chief Operating Officer of the bank’s holding company, ASC Holding, LLC.  InvesTrust is a special purpose national bank established in August of 1998 to provide trust and investment services to individuals, foundations, and employee benefit accounts.  Rhonda grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma and earned a B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University.  She is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and received the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and is also a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative.   Rhonda has worked in the financial and investment arena for 27 years beginning with First National Bank of Oklahoma City.

Rhonda is married to Steven and has two children in college, Shanna at UCO and Michael at OCU.  She has been active in the community through Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Care Center volunteer, as a soccer mom and a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.   Currently she serves as the chair of the Endowment Committee for St. Andrews UMC, Member of finance committee for Oklahoma Women’s Coalition, Leadership Oklahoma Class XXIII and 2009 honoree of the Journal Record Fifty Making a Difference.  Rhonda and Steve enjoy spending their free time at the lake, boating and fishing.

Dan Junkin, CEO

Dan is the Chairman and CEO of ASC Holding, InvesTrust's parent company. Prior to founding ASC in 1985, Dan was the Vice President for Administration for the Kerr Foundation. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Presbyterian pastor for four years in Arkansas and then was Vice President for Development at Lyon College in Arkansas. Dan moved to Oklahoma in 1980 to work for the Kerr Foundation. He currently serves as a part-time pastor to a local Presbyterian church. He served on the Board of Pensions for the Presbyterian Church (a $5 billion plan).

Karen Foust

Serving as Chief Investment Officer and portfolio manager, Karen joined InvesTrust in 1999.  Karen began her banking/investment career in 1986 working for Bank of America and its predecessors in the Oklahoma City area.  She grew up in Oklahoma and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.  Karen has passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam. She is also a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative.

Karen is a member of the Downtown Exchange Club and has been active in the community through Boy Scouts of America and United Way.  Along with her civic commitments, Karen and her family are active members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Karen is married to Joe who teaches 6th grade for the Moore Public Schools.  She and Joe have three grown sons, Alan, Gregory and Michael.  Karen enjoys spending time with her family in activities such as hiking and gardening.

Charles Johnson

Charles is Vice President of investment management, account administration and economic updates.

He has worked at InvesTrust since 1997. Previously, Charles worked for 27 years in the Trust Department of Liberty/Bank One. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees in political science and economics from Oklahoma State University. He served two years in the U.S. Navy in the Tonkin Gulf and two years in Northern Ireland.

Charles grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He has served in various volunteer capacities with Boy Scouts of America and is currently Area Commissioner for Oklahoma & Arkansas.  Charles heads the Oklahoma City Economic Roundtable.

Charles and his wife, Sharon, have two sons.

Karen Smith-Grant

Karen Smith-Grant is a Trust Officer at InvesTrust, N.A.  She brings over 28 years of experience in various aspects of the Trust arena of banking, but primarily personal trust.

Previously, Karen worked at Heritage Trust Company for 10 years and Bank of America and it’s predecessors.

Before moving to Oklahoma in 1977, Karen lived in California, Texas, Florida and Ohio.  She attended Rose State College and completed the ABA’s Trust Graduate School as well as numerous seminars and classes related to Trust.

She has been active in the community through the Oklahoma City Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Best Friends of Pets, as well as many other activities through her children’s interests.

Karen is married to Mike Grant and has two children, Kelli who attends UCO and Kirk, who is a member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard, and attends OCCC.

She enjoys spending her free time working on garden projects or home renovations.

Jeri Dawson

Jeri became vice president of employee benefit operations at InvesTrust in 2000. She has 19 years of administrative retirement plan experience. She previously worked for American Fidelity Assurance Company, where she administered the defined benefit and contribution plans.

From Cordell, Okla., Jeri attended Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor. Jeri also earned the designation of a Certified Retirement Services Professional from the Institute of Certified Bankers. She is a member of the Southwest Benefit Association. Jeri attends seminars and conferences to keep abreast of the constant changes in retirement plans.

Jeri is married to Larry and they have one daughter, Brandi, who is a senior at UCO.

Brandi Martinez

Brandi Martinez became the Operations Manager and Trust Officer for InvesTrust Retirement Specialists in November 2007 and has worked for InvesTrust since 2000.  Her responsibilities include over seeing the daily operations of the employee benefits area.  Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Brandi began her career American Fidelity Assurance Company.  She spent 8 years in the Annuity Services Department  working with 403(b) retirement accounts as the Premium Team Supervisor. 

Brandi is our resident expert on our Retirement Plan software platform.  She has attended numerous conferences and training sessions held by our software vendor.  Brandi is in the process of receiving her Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation from ASPPA. 

Brandi serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Western Heights Schools Basketball Booster Club.  She volunteers at Western Heights High School and at the Community Action Agency of OKC to help teach students the importance of saving and investments.

She and her husband, Steve, have two children, Matthew and Alyssa.

Debbie Sinard

Debbie Sinard is a personal trust officer, compliance officer and operations manager for InvesTrust, NA., and has more than 30 years of trust experience.

Prior to working at InvesTrust, Debbie was supervisor of trust securities movement at Bank of America. She is a graduate of Cannon Trust School and has attended several seminars and classes related to Trust.

Debbie is married to Jerry and have two dogs.  Debbie believes that exercising and gardening are just some of the ways to relieve stress and stay healthy. She has completed four 1/2-marathons in the last 5 years.   

Peter Junkin

Peter Junkin serves in investment capacities for both Asset Services Company and InvesTrust.  Asset Services is an independent consulting firm that works with foundations, endowments, corporations, and high net worth families to achieve their investment goals.  At Asset Services, he is Vice President and consultant.  He is in charge of investment manager research as well as the main point of contact for clients.  For InvesTrust, Peter is the chairman of the Trust Investment Committee and a trust officer.  His responsibilities include overseeing the actions of the Committee as well as research and analysis of investment managers and mutual funds for client investments.  Having spent most of his growing up in Edmond, Oklahoma, he then went to Oklahoma State University where he received his B.S. in Finance.  Prior to joining Asset Services and InvesTrust in 2007, Peter spent 10 years in the construction industry doing analytical work as a project manager.

Peter was the featured presenter at the Spring 2009 Oklahoma Stock Market Game Awards sponsored by the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education.  He is a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative and has completed Level 1 of his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Peter and his wife, Michelle, enjoy an active lifestyle including triathlons and marathons.  They have two children: Amira, 4 and Sammy, not quite 1.

Sonja Snider

Sonja is a trust administrative assistant.  She has worked for InvesTrust since 2000. Prior to joining InvesTrust, her career began in the banking industry in 1989 for Capital Hill Bank and Trust now known as First Fidelity Bank.

Sonja grew up in Moore OK, and now resides with her husband and two children in Choctaw OK.

Terri McCoy

Terri started working at our sister company Asset Services Company in 2006 and moved over to InvesTrust in 2008.  She is the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant for our Trust Officers. Her responsibilities are opening new accounts and assisting the Trust Officers with their client’s needs.

Terri grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma and now resides in Edmond, OK with husband Mark and children Ashley and Austin.

Donna Wheatley

Donna joined InvesTrust in 2004 as the receptionist.  She is now part of the Operations Department where she processes distributions for our clients.

Donna has several years experience as an office manager, Executive Secretary and Administrative Assistant

Donna was born in Canada, grew up in Southern California and moved to Oklahoma in 1994 to be closer to her daughter.  She has one daughter and 4 grandsons, Justin, Derek, Cole and Connor.

Cathy Friday

Cathy has over 20 years of accounting/finance experience, including 5 years in public accounting, and 10 years in Personal Trust accounting. Cathy serves in the role of CFO for all ASC Holding, LLC entities. Cathy is a CPA and an active member with the AICPA, the OSCPA and the Oklahoma City Chapter of the OSCPA.

Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy is the Chief Information Officer of InvesTrust and Asset Services Company.  His responsibilities include managing the Information Technology Department, marketing, and managing the Trust Operations Department.  He is also a member of the Trust Investment Committee.  Growing up in Oklahoma, he received a B.B.A. in management information systems from the University of Oklahoma, and earned a Masters of Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix. Matt has worked in the IT field in several capacities and has earned recognition as a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

Balancing career with community involvement, Matt serves as an active board member with Upward Transitions.  Other civic activities include mentoring at Oklahoma City Public Schools, serving on the Starz of Education planning committee, chairing the American Tourist fund raiser, and volunteering with the Arts Council of Oklahoma City.  He is also a member of the Oklahoma City Midtown Rotary, and the Leadership Oklahoma City Alumni Association.

Always excited to learn and experience new things, Matt spends his free time cooking, auto racing, reading, playing disk golf, and traveling.

Jordan Young

Jordan Young became a performance analyst for Asset Services Company in March 2009. Jordan started with InvesTrust in September 2006 in the capacity of network administrator and continues in this role today.  His responsibilities range from desktop troubleshooting and server administration to the design and production of client communication materials; he also assists in calculating performance and attribution analysis for clients.  Growing up in Ada, Oklahoma he received a B.S. in Business Administration from East Central University.

As an active community member, Jordan serves on the Board of Directors for the Lyric Understudies Program, which is comprised of men & women ages 40 and under.  His civic activities also include serving as a committee chair for the Annual Omelette Party benefiting the Oklahoma City Museum of Art as well as involvement in other arts organizations.

Residing in Northwest Oklahoma City, Jordan enjoys keeping up with the latest trends in technology.  Additionally he enjoys entertaining, gardening and traveling.

Stephanie Corder

Stephanie started working in the InvesTrust Retirement Specialists department in 2007. Before coming to InvesTrust, Stephanie worked for Midland Mortgage for nine years. She is currently enrolled in the Business Administration program at Southern Nazarene University. When she’s not working and going to school, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her daughter, Whitney.

Misty Vestal

Misty started working at InvesTrust as a Retirement Specialist in 2007. Before coming to InvesTrust, Misty worked for Midland Mortgage for five years. Misty grew up in Little Axe and now resides in South Oklahoma City with husband Micah.

MaryBeth Case

MaryBeth started her career in the retirement planning and benefits administration field in 2002 working for various insurance companies. MaryBeth joined the operations department of InvesTrust in 2008.
